LH means left hand, RH means right hand, and LH/RH means the same part fits either side. Win Store lists this marking in the product title because on many vehicles the left and right shock absorbers are genuinely different parts, and ordering the wrong side means the part will not mount.

Which side is left and which is right?

Left and right are always given from the driver's seat looking forward, not from standing in front of the vehicle. This is the international convention and Win Store follows it. If you are describing a fault to our parts team, say "driver's side" or "passenger's side" as well, so there is no confusion.

Why would the left and right shock absorbers differ?

Because the surrounding parts are not symmetrical. Exhaust routing, fuel lines, the handbrake cable and the steering linkage all sit on one side, so the bracket angle or the position of a mounting eye is often mirrored rather than identical. On vehicles where nothing interferes, the manufacturer uses one part for both sides and the listing is marked LH/RH.
