Bushing များကို အစုံလိုက် လဲရခြင်း
Bushings are cheap parts with expensive labour, because each one has to be pressed out of its housing and a new one pressed in. That cost structure is why they should be replaced as a set — all the bushings on an arm, and both sides of the axle — rather than one at a time as each begins to knock.
Bushing များသည် ပစ္စည်းဈေး သက်သာပြီး လုပ်အားခ ကြီးသော ပစ္စည်းများ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ တစ်ခုချင်းစီကို အိမ်ထဲမှ ဖိထုတ်ပြီး အသစ်ကို ဖိသွင်းရသောကြောင့် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် တစ်ခုချင်း မဟုတ်ဘဲ အစုံလိုက် လဲသင့်ပါသည်။
Why does the labour cost drive this?
လုပ်အားခက ဘာကြောင့် ဒီဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်ကို ဖြစ်စေတာလဲ
Because the expensive part of the job is getting to the bushing, not the bushing itself. The arm has to come off the vehicle and go into a press. Once it is out, pressing a second bushing from the same arm costs very little extra. Replacing one now and the other in six months means doing that whole removal twice, which can cost more in labour than every bushing on the vehicle costs in parts.

What counts as a set?

Work outward in three steps.

- Every bushing on the arm being removed — most control arms carry two of different sizes.
- The same arm on the opposite side of the vehicle, since both have aged identically.
- Any other bushing already exposed by the work, such as the stabilizer bushes if the bar has been released.

Is a complete arm sometimes cheaper than a bushing set?
တံလုံးလိုက်က Bushing အစုံထက် ပိုသက်သာတတ်ပါသလား
Often, yes. A complete control arm arrives with new bushings and a new ball joint already pressed in, so it bolts straight on with no press work at all. Once you add the press charge for two bushings to the price of the bushings themselves, a complete arm can be the cheaper option and it renews the ball joint as well. Ask your workshop for both prices before deciding.
