Brake Shoe နှင့် Drum Brake အကြောင်း
Brake shoes are curved friction parts that press outward against the inside wall of a brake drum. Where a brake pad squeezes a disc from the outside, a brake shoe pushes a drum from the inside, and most pickups, light trucks and budget cars use brake shoes on the rear axle.
Brake Shoe များသည် Brake Drum ၏ အတွင်းနံရံသို့ အပြင်ဘက်သို့ ဖိကပ်ပေးသော လခြမ်းပုံသဏ္ဌာန် အစိတ်အပိုင်းများ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ Brake Pad က Disc ကို အပြင်မှ ညှပ်ပြီး Brake Shoe က Drum ကို အတွင်းမှ ဖိပါသည်။ ဝန်တင်ကားနှင့် ကုန်တင်ကားငယ် အများစုတွင် နောက်ဘီး၌ သုံးပါသည်။
What is a brake shoe?

A brake shoe is a curved steel crescent with friction lining bonded to its outer face. It sits inside a drum brake and is pushed outward against the inside wall of the drum when you brake. Where a pad squeezes a disc from outside, a shoe presses a drum from inside.
Brake Shoe ဆိုသည်မှာ အပြင်ဘက်မျက်နှာပြင်တွင် ပွတ်တိုက်အလွှာ ကပ်ထားသော လခြမ်းပုံသဏ္ဌာန် သံမဏိ အစိတ်အပိုင်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ Drum အတွင်း၌ ရှိပြီး Brake နင်းသောအခါ Drum ၏ အတွင်းနံရံသို့ အပြင်ဘက်သို့ ဖိကပ်ပေးပါသည်။ Pad က Disc ကို အပြင်မှ ညှပ်ပြီး Shoe က Drum ကို အတွင်းမှ ဖိပါသည်။
Which vehicles still use drum brakes?

Most pickups, light trucks, buses and many budget passenger cars use drums on the rear axle, and older vehicles may use them on all four wheels. Drums are cheaper to make, self-energising under load, and seal well against dust — which is why they remain common on working vehicles in Myanmar.

Why does my car have discs at the front and drums at the rear?
ဘာကြောင့် ရှေ့မှာ Disc၊ နောက်မှာ Drum တပ်ထားတာလဲ
Because weight shifts forward when you brake. The front wheels do most of the work and generate most of the heat, so they get discs, which cool faster. The rear does less, so a drum is sufficient and also makes the parking brake mechanism simpler to build.
Brake နင်းသောအခါ ကားအလေးချိန် ရှေ့သို့ ရွှေ့သွားသောကြောင့် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ရှေ့ဘီးများက အလုပ်ပိုလုပ်ပြီး အပူပိုထွက်သဖြင့် အပူလျင်မြန်စွာ လျော့နိုင်သော Disc ကို သုံးပါသည်။ နောက်ဘီးက အလုပ်နည်းသဖြင့် Drum ဖြင့် လုံလောက်ပြီး Handbrake စနစ်ကိုလည်း ပိုရိုးရှင်းစေပါသည်။
Are brake shoes sold in pairs?
Brake Shoe ကို အတွဲလိုက် ရောင်းပါသလား
Yes — as an axle set covering both rear wheels, normally four shoes. Each wheel carries a leading and a trailing shoe, and they are not always identical. Fitting shoes to one side only causes uneven braking, so we do not split sets.
ဟုတ်ပါသည် — နောက်ဘီး နှစ်ဖက်စလုံးအတွက် တစ်စုံလိုက် (ပုံမှန် ၄ ခု) ရောင်းချပါသည်။ ဘီးတစ်ဖက်လျှင် Leading နှင့် Trailing Shoe ပါဝင်ပြီး အမြဲ တူညီချင်မှ တူညီပါသည်။ တစ်ဖက်တည်း လဲပါက Brake မညီမျှမှု ဖြစ်စေပါသည်။
