Brake Pad အခြေခံ အကြောင်း
Brake pads are the friction blocks that the caliper squeezes against the brake disc to slow your vehicle. Brake pads are designed to wear out so that the more expensive disc does not, and brake pads are always replaced as an axle set of four.
Brake Pad များသည် Caliper က Brake Disc ပေါ်သို့ ဖိကပ်ပေးသည့် ပွတ်တိုက်အားပေးသော အစိတ်အပိုင်းများ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ဈေးကြီးသော Disc ကို ကာကွယ်ရန် Brake Pad ကို ပိုနူးညံ့အောင် ထုတ်လုပ်ထားပြီး Axle တစ်ခုလုံးအတွက် လေးခုတစ်စုံ လဲလှယ်ရပါသည်။
What does a brake pad actually do?

A brake pad is a block of friction material that the caliper squeezes against the spinning brake disc when you press the pedal. That friction turns your car's movement into heat, and the heat is carried away by the disc. The pad is deliberately the softest part of the system, because it is designed to wear out instead of the expensive disc.
Brake Pad ဆိုသည်မှာ Brake နင်းလိုက်သောအခါ Caliper က လှည့်နေသော Brake Disc ပေါ်သို့ ဖိကပ်ပေးသည့် ပွတ်တိုက်အားပေးသော အစိတ်အပိုင်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ထိုပွတ်တိုက်မှုက ကားရွေ့လျားမှုကို အပူအဖြစ် ပြောင်းလဲပေးပါသည်။ Disc ကို ကာကွယ်ရန်အတွက် Pad ကို ရည်ရွယ်ချက်ရှိရှိ ပိုနူးညံ့အောင် ထုတ်လုပ်ထားခြင်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
Where are the brake pads on my car?

They sit inside the caliper, one on each side of the brake disc, behind the wheel. Most vehicles have brake pads on the front wheels; many modern vehicles have them on all four. If a wheel uses a drum brake instead of a disc, that wheel has brake shoes rather than pads.

What is a brake pad made of?

A steel backing plate carries a bonded block of friction compound. That compound is ceramic, semi-metallic, or organic, and the choice changes how the pad behaves — how quietly it stops, how much dust it leaves on your wheels, and how well it copes with heat. Many pads also carry a shim on the back to damp vibration.

Are brake pads sold individually or in sets?

Always as an axle set — four pads, enough for both wheels on the same axle. Replacing the pads on only one wheel makes the car pull to one side under braking, which is why we do not sell them singly. Front and rear sets are different parts and are ordered separately.
