Steering Linkage
Steering linkage is the set of parts between the steering box or rack and the wheels: rack ends, idler arms, pitman arms and centre links. This section explains what each one does, how a rack end differs from a tie rod end, how to read the part numbers, and why any play in this linkage is dangerous rather than merely annoying.
